Chesapeake Systems is a manufacturer's representative providing equipment, parts, service and technical solutions for commercial air conditioning, heating and plumbing systems. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant who enjoys working in a team environment. This is an entry level full-time position with hours Monday thru Friday at our Hanover, MD location.


This Administrative position will provide support throughout the entire company. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent people skills and the ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  1. Answer and direct phone calls

  2. Organize and schedule appointments

  3. Plan meetings and take detailed minutes

  4. Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms

  5. Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

  6. Develop and maintain a filing system

  7. Book travel arrangements

  8. Provide general support to visitors and staff



  • This position works in an office environment and must be able to operate standard office equipment.

  • Must be able to use a computer to access, input and retrieve information.

  • Must be able to move files and materials generally weighing up to 10 pounds.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
